What is TELLERConnect SM and why did Glenview State Bank install the machines?

TELLERConnect is an interactive teller machine which allows you to have a real-time face-to-face conversation with a Glenview State Bank teller. Customers can process transactions that are currently accepted at our drive-thru teller windows.

TELLERConnect is being introduced for many reasons.  Immediate benefits include:

  • Providing our customers with a more personal, interactive and paperless experience
  • Pro viding our teller staff with a safe and centrally located area to work
  • Maintaining our extended teller service hours

How is this different from an ATM? 

Although TELLERConnect looks somewhat like an ATM, it is not an ATM and does not require a card. TELLERConnect is for GSB customers only. The teller will guide you every step of the way. 

What can I do using TELLERConnect?

You can make deposits and withdrawals, complete transfers and loan payments, and cash checks. The teller will also be able to assist with other banking questions just as a teller would in person at a window. 

Is my conversation with the teller private? 

It is as private as a conversation with a drive-thru teller. However if you want more privacy you can attach your earbuds to the headset connection or use the chat feature on the screen to enter your account number. 

Are the tellers employees of Glenview State Bank?

They sure are. Our TELLERConnect staff is located at our Main Bank on Waukegan Road in Glenview. 

Is there a delay in crediting my account when I use TELLERConnect? 

The same as always, your deposits are posted on the same day and available the next business day. While there are always circumstances that delay availability, those circumstances would be the same regardless of if you use the machines or see a teller inside a branch.

Do I need a deposit slip to make a deposit? 

No! This is one of the great features of TELLERConnect. If you know your account number, you can enter it on the key pad or the teller can look it up for you. Conversely, you do not need a check to withdraw from your checking account or a withdrawal slip to withdraw from your savings account. 

Is there a limit as to how much cash I can withdraw thru TELLERConnect? 

The limit is the same as it is thru our traditional drive up teller windows ... $3,000.

How do I begin? 

When you drive into the lane, just tap the screen. Our staff will walk you thru the rest. This lobby unit demonstration will give you a great sense of how TELLERConnect works.
