We’re proud to announce one of our associates have been named among the Forty Under 40 honorees by Central Illinois Business magazine and another has been honored as one of this year’s 40 Leaders Under 40 by Peoria Magazine.

Associates were nominated by their peers and/or community and selected by a panel of judges based on achievements, leadership ability, expertise in their field and community involvement. Please join us in congratulating Deanna Capel and Heather Himstedt on these deserved recognitions.

Deanna, Executive Vice President - Director of Busey Experience, has been a leader in developing Busey’s positive, community-focused identity throughout our footprint. Deanna oversees a broad range of creative, customer and associate event execution and media planning efforts, coupled with management and alignment of charitable strategies and community relations efforts. Deanna lives the Busey Promise by taking every opportunity to give back to our communities as a volunteer with various local organizations.

Heather, Vice President – Market Manager II, continues to be a motivational and forward-thinking leader in the Tri-County area. While she oversees a direct team of six associates, nearly 30 associates in total are under her purview in Busey’s Peoria/Tazewell market. Heather is an active member of the Peoria community and gives back in countless ways, serving in various capacities with local organizations. Heather strives to exceed the needs of our customers while also building strong relationships with her team and community—proof of her steadfast commitment to being a servant leader.
